Well...after meeting Fresco when he rocked our show in October, I may be a little biased when I say that "I don't think Soulkhan deserved a win on this one". But but but...I wouldn't give it to Fresco either. To me - this $hit was extremely close and another battle should definitely be in order. Georgia Hip Hop
Well, after years of traveling around the states producing, doing shows and meeting lots of people; I have decided to settle down in a small pond and live like the ever growing fat fish I am. The last quarter of a century I have had the luck to be involved with the Austin Texas hip hop scene at it's hay day in the early 90's. I moved to Anchorage Alaska for the turn of the Y2k panic to establish hip hop on the last coast. After Alaska I found myself digging for records in Seattle and Portland for awhile. That trip reconnected me with some my old crew from Chicago and Austin. Hip Hop Mecca, Mad Godz clothing, the temple of hip hop, various underground promoters and friends. In 2004 I found myself hosting the only hip hop radio shows in Moscow Idaho!! After a sudden turn of events, I was on the road again, only heading to Arizona to take on audio engineering school.
I guess you can say, that is where I become affiliated with Donuts & Milk. After a short stint back in Chicago attempting to reconnect with the "new" hip hop scene; I decided that it was time to pack up the lab, move the records AGAIN and head south to a smaller market.
After numerous drunken phone calls, BOBO has asked me to partake in Donuts & milk and help represent the family in the south.
SO, if you are reading this and live somewhere in the south....hit me up. let me know whats cracking in your area, if your looking for gear, selling gear, know of any B-Girls, etc.
