Soul Khan - Acknowledgement
The Brown Bag Allstar is mos def stepping his game up. One might thing that Soul Khan is the lost Jewish member of the Wu-Tang Clan after listening to this EP. We all know that's not the case... dude is creating his own late these days. Soul Khan is really leaving it all out on the table with this new EP. Very impressive.

Sam I Am - Cypha Time
First time I met Sam I Am was in a b-boy cypha. I knew him as Sam the cat in the orange skully that had swipes to headspins all day. It didn't take long until I found out he could also freestyle all night. Our breaking crew, The GroundHogs, would stay late after a night of practice to listen to Sam I Am flow as long as someone was listening. We'd all chime in from time to time but it was obvious we couldn't hang. Neither could his opponents. Sam I Am went on to go on 6 week BET Freestyle Friday tear and put the Chi back on the map. Now Sam let's us know its time to go back full circle. Forget all the written battle bs. It's Cypha Time.

The 1st time I met Villian - it was 3 in the morning, I was drunk, and he was freestyling on the Redline here in Chicago. We chopped it up for a minute and both headed our separate ways. 2nd time I met Villian - it was about 3 in the morning, I was drunk again, and he was hustlin' his CD "Who's Your Favorite Rapper?" outside the bars in Wrigleyville. Long story short - Villian has got some serious potential and I'm real thankful to have heard him spit live & direct. After buying a CD from him - I told him I'd get him up on D&M as soon as I woke up. Well...I'm awake.
