The most legendary Phife Dawg, of A Tribe Called Quest, made a stop in Tempe AZ last night to perform 45 minutes of classic Tribe joints. The entire night was pretty epic. He started the show by telling the crowd that they had to sing the Q-Tip lyrics since he wasn't at the show. That was no problem at all for the Tribe junkies that packed it in at Club Red. Phife sprinkled a little ESPN commentary in between tracks too. He congratulated LeBron on his first NBA title and spoke on Steve Nash trade rumors. If you know anything about Phife you know he is a sports fanatic. The Five Footer ended the night by rocking out to Buggin Out and giving a small talk on the meaning of Hip-Hop and the unity that it brings. Definitely a night I'll never forget...
